My works—created in watercolour and other media such as gouache—stem from an exploration of the expressive potential of art materials. I aim to capture the fleeting, distinctive, and essential qualities of the world around us through themes that resonate deeply with all of us, always striving for simplicity, delicate brushwork, and the "less is more" philosophy.
Watercolour is the medium that best allows me to express myself. It lets me play with transparency and spontaneity, creating vibrant pieces that evolve as the work progresses. It is a medium that constantly challenges me yet simultaneously offers me absolute freedom.
My inspiration always comes from nature and my immediate surroundings—from the simple things in everyday life.
I seek to connect the tangible beauty of nature with the sensations and emotions it evokes in me. Organic forms, light, and color play a fundamental role in my work, and small, gestural brushstrokes are my language.
I do not aim for an exact representation of reality, but rather for personal interpretations of what I see and feel in the world around me.
Although I strive to remain true to the technique, I do not follow rigid rules; each piece is a new opportunity to explore, combine colours and shapes, and, above all, let myself be guided by the unpredictability of water and pigment.
