“Loose Style in Watercolor from Landscape to Cityscape”

Day 1: Landscape Painting

We will focus on learning how to convey depth and space in a landscape effectively. You’ll discover how to choose the right color palette depending on the emotional mood you wish to express in each project, and how to properly structure your workflow. But most importantly, you will learn not just to reproduce reality, but to infuse your work with feelings and emotions. Creating an atmospheric landscape is one of the most exciting challenges for any watercolorist!

Day 2: Seascape Painting

We'll learn techniques that will help you create convincing and vibrant waves. Color combinations, special effects, and spatial rules—all this knowledge will help you create light and transparent watercolors.

Day 3: Cityscape painting

Working on an urban landscape, we’ll learn to convey space. Particular attention will be paid to perspective and urban landscape details—those little, delicious elements that create mood. But most importantly, we’ll learn to create atmosphere and infuse emotion into our work. To do this, we’ll need to study the color palette and learn how to choose the right mixtures depending on the task at hand. Our goal isn’t just to paint a fragment of the city, but to tell a story and create an atmosphere.
