Passionate about watercolor
However, it was during the time I lived on the Île d’Yeu—from 1997 to 2000—that I began to dedicate myself to it fully and professionally. Making a living from this passion is a dream coming true, slowly but surely…
While living on the island, I produced a watercolor manual with Hachette Fascicules titled *Réussir ses aquarelles* ("Mastering Watercolor"). This teaching experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of watercolor techniques and share my knowledge with others.
Upon returning to Alsace in 2000, I began teaching watercolor classes for local associations. Over the years, the number of my students grew..
I am currently proud to lead ten groups comprising over 140 registered members, and I believe I have succeeded in sharing my passion and generating real momentum in Northern Alsace. Naturally, this teaching activity demands a great deal of my time and energy.

Since 2020, I have replaced regular classes with workshops. I conduct one-day workshops in my local area (the eastern region) and two- or three-day sessions in more distant locations.

My personal artistic work focuses on abandoned industrial sites—a world that fascinates and speaks to me. I have a particular fondness for these old buildings that bear the imprint of our past, where nature is slowly reclaiming the space. I almost always seek out specific atmospheres and backlighting effects. I also love painting an old door, a fragment of a lock, or a detail of rust rich in varied hues and textures. I take my audience to forgotten, neglected places, helping to rediscover and breathe new life into them.

A member of the French Watercolor Society, he regularly participates in major national and international festivals and exhibitions.
